Key metrics overview
Five tiles. Color-coded the moment they load.
Yield, Annual Dividend, Payout Ratio, Frequency, and Next Ex-Dividend. Yield turns green at 3% / yellow at 1% / gray below. Payout ratio uses the same Safe / Moderate / At Risk thresholds we use everywhere else - 60% and 80% are the inflection points. The Next Ex-Dividend tile flips its days-until chip from gray to yellow at 30 days, then red at 7.
Next payment details
Ex-date. Record date. Pay date. Amount.
The four numbers you need to qualify for the next payment. Countdown banner goes urgent inside 3 days, soon inside 7. We surface the "you must hold before the ex-date" rule directly on the card, because every retail investor still gets this wrong at least once.
Income calculator
Type a share count. See the four numbers.
Investment Value, Annual Income, Monthly Equivalent, Per Payment. If you already hold the stock, we pre-fill the calculator with your actual position from Held Stocks - no retyping. The Per Payment figure uses the detected payment frequency (Monthly / Quarterly / Semi-Annual / Annual) - not a quarterly assumption.
Payout safety gauge
The payout-ratio gauge tells you the truth on yield.
A semicircle gauge with three zones - green (< 60), yellow (60-80), red (80+) - and a needle at the current ratio. Underneath: a 5-year payout sparkline labelled increasing / stable / decreasing, plus a Risk Factors list that lights up when the ratio crosses 80% or the trend turns down.
Dividend growth track
Aristocrat detection without the marketing copy.
1Y growth, 3Y CAGR, 5Y CAGR, and the consecutive-increases streak. 10+ years earns the Dividend Achiever badge (silver). 25+ years earns Dividend King (gold). And if 3Y CAGR exceeds 5Y CAGR we tag the company as Accelerating Growth - the opposite pattern fires Slowing Growth.
Payment history charts
Every payment, twenty years back.
A bar chart of every individual dividend (1Y / 3Y / 5Y / 10Y / Max ranges) with special dividends auto-detected at >1.5x the average and tinted yellow. Beneath it, an annual-totals line chart that excludes the current year from the y-axis scale so partial YTD data doesn't collapse the gradient.
Sortable history table
Sortable, paginated, 10-row pages.
Ex-dividend date (sortable), payment date, amount to 4 decimal places, Regular vs Special chip. Sort flips between ascending and descending on click; pagination shows 5 buttons centred on the current page. The exact view a retail investor uses to confirm a payment landed.
Personal calendar view
Personal month-grid: only the names you own.
Switching to the Calendar tab swaps the dividends view for a month grid built around your holdings - dividends, earnings, IPOs, economic events. The toolbar drives month navigation, a "today" jump, and an impact filter (High / All) that quiets the noise. Tapping a day cell opens an event modal - for earnings, the modal includes the call player with refresh.
